 We are here to identify the top skills for 2021 and beyond, based on the skills required for all kind of stuff that you are doing right now. 

By not having this set of skills you are likely to have adverse effects on your future. If I illustrate, these are the skills you need to be ahead of time and consequently making your self the future leader. It is no great secret that upskilling yourself will enhance your success and focus on skills is now essential to ensure that you continue to thrive. 


So what are the key skills that will be needed in 2021?


1.Problem solving

It is the act of defining a problem ; determining the cause of it, identifying, prioritizing, and selecting alternatives for a solution and implementing a solution. It is important for both individuals and organizations because it enables us to exert control over our environment.It is all about having the skills to see the big picture, being attentive enough to keep an eye on the details and being able to move things around to get your desired results. 


2. Creativity :

In the near future when you and I would be surrounded by Al robots, doing all kind of jobs, at that time the most important skill would be creativity. The person with a creative mind will be rewarded with the best. 

If you would not be creative you would definitely be shunned by the world. Being creative means to be able to take lots of disparate information and bring this altogether to create a solution.



3. Critical thinking :

A person who can examine the facts, who can look at the positives and negatives of a problem and come up with an answer with logic and reasoning is said to be a critical thinker. It is about asking the right questions that help you assess both the meaning and significance of the claims and arguments. 

To be a true critical thinker means being creative, reflective and adaptable. If we see this time the humans of my generation (The gen Z) are having a critical mindset, which people of previous generation didn't think of. 


4. Communication :

Good communication skills are the basis for any relationship. Without the ability to communicate well, we often become confused and things get distorted. Skilled communicators are trusted and they effectively convey a thought or need.The key to good communicating is also strong listening skills. It's important to hear what people are saying to you.

What gets in the way of good communication? Frustration, lack of trust, stress, and avoiding problems, which all add up to endless hours wasted. It’s important to start from a place of active listening, and consider intention, organization, framing and affirmation. 


5. Self awareness :

Self-awareness is understanding the biases and challenges you may have in your own life. Our experiences often define our attitudes and being self-aware means you realize and understand these things, giving you the ability to move beyond them. We are always busy with the next thing and we loose a sense of ourselves. This often leads people to unfulfilled lives. 

Self awareness leads to better decision making, more positivity, higher productivity and many other great benefits in your life. 


6. Time management :

You may be relatively free-spirited and without worries in your 20s, but that doesn't mean it’s a good idea to squander your time and your resources. It's a simple truth that applies to both time and money. Focus your time and energy on things that will help you grow and give," Time is a resource, just like money, finite and exhaustible. Time is beyond our control, and the clock keeps ticking regardless of how we lead our lives.Priority management is the answer to maximizing the time we have.


7. Team work :

Teamwork builds character, teaches people about leadership and cooperation.” Consider leadership and cooperation and you may wonder why it is necessary.Successful people are known to work well in a team because teamwork lets you accomplish things that may otherwise have been incredibly difficult or impossible. To succeed in life, you must know how to get people together and create teams that will collectively pursue an important mission. 




8. Leadership :

Leadership skill ties into teamwork and becomes the ability to wield the might of togetherness effectively. To channel that potential into meaningful success.Effective leadership skills unite people under a common goal by combining exceptional Communication skills to establish a steady flow of information, Motivation to encourage productivity and passion and Positivity to create a happy and healthy work environment.


9. Social interaction :

Social interaction is a core part of everyday human experience and existence. Our social interactions affect our physical and mental health. Learning to manage this would improve our overall wellbeing. You must know how to create relationships and bond with the right people if you want to go far in life.




10. Ability to be happy alone:

Training yourself to unlink your success and happiness from other people’s opinions would provide enduring value. Life is complex. It’s not every time you get people to like you. It’s not every time you have people around you. Train to find and enjoy the excitement in life and living your life. You don't only have to enjoy a movie because you're seeing it with someone else or appreciate a good book because you get to discuss it.You must enjoy your own company before you can truly enjoy other people’s company.
